Dan Rather interview in which he talks about his coverage of Hurricane Carla in 1961. The coverage turned out to be his big break, as he and a cameraman headed to Galveston near where the hurricane was forecast to hit. During the coverage, he did NOT strap himself to a tree, but he THOUGHT about it....
